Arty Party: Kunsthall Stavanger's exciting event for children!

Autumn 2024's Arty Party artist was performer and clown Marie Kallevik Straume. Alongside collaborators Anna Marie Simonsen & Cecily Nash, children aged 0+ were brought into Marie and her team’s universe, informed by their background as clowns and theatre makers. There was clowning, disco, an open mic stage and more.

Cecily has worked with Discover Children's Story Centre for a number of years as a "Story Builder": facilitating workshops with schools and organisations; creative development on a number of performance project; outreach and performance in libraries across London and public arts events and a general fun-maker for families.

Developed shows include Not Yet a Yeti (2022 & 2023, dir. Joe Hancock) & Supertato (2024 dir. Ashley Joseph)
