Cecily’s teaching starts with the body, and that each individual offers a unique way of moving and occupation of the space. She focuses on the physical relationship performers have to themselves, each other, the space, and text. Every body can create space, tell a story and morph into a multiplicity of experiences and characters. Cecily believes that by engaging with a dedicated practice, by treating theatre work as a discipline, you will reap the rewards. You get out of performance and theatre work exactly what you put in.
Cecily is currently the movement teacher at Beck Academy of Dramatic Art. She was previously on the faculty of Berridge Programs between 2020-2022.
She also provides tailored workshops to schools and drama groups. Please fill out the contact form to enquire about rates.
Cecily also works as a corporate role-player and communications training facilitator, with over 10 years experience.
